“Yemen Eco” website investigated the “Galaxy Leader” Ship which was detained by Sana’a government forces, today Sunday in the Red Sea, according to what Arab and international media sources mentioned, and confirmed by other Israeli and Yemeni sources.
Available information about the Ship on “Marina Traffic” website indicated that the Galaxy Leader Ship is designated for the transportation of goods (car carrier) its load capacity is 48.710 tons; its length is 189.2 meters, and its beam is 32.39 meters, it was built in 2002 and carries the flag of the Bahamas.
Media means mentioned that the Ship is owned to the Israeli businessman Rami Onger.
The Israeli businessman Rami Onger commented on the detention operation of the Ship by Sana’a forces in the Red Sea and Associated Press agency attributed Onger as saying “We are aware of the incident but we can’t comment because we are waiting for details”
It is mentioned that Rami Onger, the owner of the ship” Galaxy Leader” which was captured by Sana’a forces in the Red Sea, the Israeli businessman was born in 1947 in Tel Aviv and is considered one of the largest car importers, and has numerous estate companies in Israel and Europe, and he is also a member of board of directors of “Israeli Institute for National Security Studies” he was known as close to the former head of Mossad Yousi Kohen”
Earlier, Sana’a forces had published a statement in which it announced “it would carry out targeting all kinds of ships that carry the Zionist enemy’s flag, and the ships that are operated by Israeli companies, and if its property belongs to Israeli companies”
The statement added that” the Yemeni armed forces call on all countries in the world to withdraw their citizens working with the crews of these ships, avoid shipping on board of these ships or dealing with them, and inform your ships to stay away from these ships.”
The leader of “Ansar Allah” Abdul Malik Al-Houthi announced last week that Israeli ships are being searched for in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab to target them.
He added that “the Israeli depends in his movement in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab region on smuggling and camouflaging and did not dare to raise the Israeli flags on his ships” the enemy’s ships depend on smuggling and close the tracking systems in the Red Sea, however, he will not succeed and we are going to search for his ships and will not hesitate to strike them.
He said “God willing we will get the ships of the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea and are going to torture them, and at any level, our hands will get and will not hesitate in targeting him and the world should be acknowledged.”
